I have appreciated the specific feedback on how to improve my stroke, and have been putting it into practice. The videos are really great, and being able to see progress from week to week has been super helpful. I have been recommending your classes to my friends! I completed my first olympic triathlon a few weeks ago, finishing 4th overall! The swim went really well, the water had warmed up to 23.5C so they announced that it will be a no-wetsuit swim! That was a bit intimidating but it went smoothly. I finished the 1.5km in 33 minutes and I felt very fresh for the bike segment where I put in the fastest time of the day. Kudos to your great coaching over the winter to take me from a novice swimmer to where I am today.
I felt much better during the last benchmark swim. Fighting less and gliding more. I still have a way to go to integrate the body mechanics but I feel like a much better swimmer than when I started the class. The content and your instructions are very clear and made sense scaling week to week. The cherry on top is how nice and encouraging you both are. Adult learning can be intimidating so I really appreciate your kind gentle approach.

On his 2019 Ironman Whistler swim: 'I just took it slow, remembered what you taught me and drafted as much as possible. I came out of the water feeling good and that I could've swam a lot further. It's the furthest I've ever swam so my PB now is 1:19 which is 11 minutes faster than I anticipated. '
